What? It’s 2022?

The Clear Creek Greenway Authority has been on hiatus since 2019 when we started thinking about refocusing on projects that would support not just the backbone, meaning the Greenway itself, but the rest of the systems of front country recreation in Clear Creek County.

Like so many organizations, what we thought would be a short hiatus was extended by Covid-19 and now, over the past few months have some now connections and important opportunities that are coming our way and we will be sharing more soon.

We are excited about the possibilities and look forward to what is to come.

Feast on the Creek a Smashing Success

Feast on the Creek was a Smashing Success!

Clear Creek Greenway Authority (CCGA) and the City of Idaho Springs held their 2nd annual Feast on the Creek for the advancement of the Clear Creek Greenway project on October 7th at Courtney Ryley Cooper Park. Over $42,000 was raised in support of the Clear Creek Greenway project. This project was started when a group of proud Clear Creek County residents and businesses owners discovered a mutual vision to increase the capacity for tourism in cities like Idaho Springs throughout Clear Creek County. It will provide new ways for the community to be outdoors together, as well as spur economic development through the creation of impactful programs, new businesses and recreational opportunities across the county.
